With the offseason officially started, I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of you here at PatsFans for allowing people like myself, Dino, Tuna, etc. to particpate in the discussions here! This truly is a great site, and I enjoy alot of the FOOTBALL discussions here. It's refreshing to come here and get a different prospective in comparison to the typical "homer" threads at the Steeler's boards. Don't get me wrong...I'm sure I still probably fall into the "homer" category, but it's still nice to take a break from that once in awhile. For the most part, I've always felt welcome here, and I appreciate that. Sure, we disagree on plenty of issues, and sometimes it gets a little "heated", but I can take the heat that comes with being a Steelers fan on a Pats site. To be honest I enjoy dishing out a few jabs myself now and then! Anyway, it's been fun, and I just wanted to give all of you and this site some much deserved props! Looking forward to next season, and hoping our teams meet again soon! Best of luck in '09 and I'll be hoping that Brady and the rest of your guys have a speedy and complete recovery in the offseason!

I agree with Triggerfish, you guys are the best fans on any other boards. Its the only other forum I post on. I like the NE area and I always hated NY Sports, so I feel like we got that in common. I figure you guys will tolerate my being here as long as we don't beat you in the playoffs too LOL.

Good posters who are fans of other teams are always welcome here. We have some Colts fans, a couple of Jets fans, Chargers, and you guys of the Steelers plus others.

It is unfortunate that most who sign here are here for one reason only, and that is to troll, and they don't last long.
