I didn't get the game down here, so I didn't pick that up. But, that's pretty much my reaction...and I suspect it would be Troy's as well. Better than anyone, he knew what it meant to fill your role and do your job. If that number has now gone to someone else who's going to make a difference here, then let's be happy about that.

Actually I noticed the Smith and thought " I thought LeKevin would be bigger" then it clicked Duh........And I was wearing a Troy Brown jersey to the game!!!!!
I said that to my friend last night and he responded with, "I was just thinking the same thing." Funny how seeing another #50 or #16 wasn't quite a painful as seeing #80.
It's funny, I did a double take seeing #80 too, but at the time it didn't register why. I just kept looking at Smith and thinking "he looks out of place somehow."
I don't mind Smith wearing Troy's number. The man makes the number, not the other way around. No one is going to forget what Troy Brown means to this organization just because someone else is wearing his number.
I just hope no one judges Smith more harshly because of the sentimentality #80 evokes.
