Matthews just got released. Get ready for him to sign with the Pats in 3,2,1.
Very trueDon't forget the Cowboys.
I'd be pissed!I would melt

...and the 37 pages of speculation would ensue.
No sirWould be almost worth it just for the reactions.
It might be Patterson but what has Hogan done
Hogan is not at risk. Dorsett should be renting.Hogan is WAYYYYY better than Patterson. His problem is that he's being guarded by the other team's best corner and is playing outside of his natural role as the #3. With Edelman and Gordon, he'll suddenly start making noise.
Hes returned a few punts at the NFL level.
Not sure who I would cut. Not sure it would be a WR
Gordon
JE
Matthews
Hogan
Dorsett/Patterson
That isn't too bad.
I'd like to keep Patterson for kick offs and some jet sweep plays for cheap yards. The problem is, defenses aren't concerned with the run or pass so they can sniff out those plays with Patterson. It would be Patterson if they're going to cut a WR at all.
I'm not sure. Since he wanted to be released, I'm thinking he would be free to go anywhere. Can he sign with anyone immediately, or does he have to go through waivers? In other words, is he a vested veteran?
You are right. Hogan hasn't done anything and that's only because he's just not a #1 WR . 7/11 is closed when he attracts the the best DB on the other team. He is more effective as the #3rd option at best. His effectiveness goes up when the amount of options the Pats have goes up. Adding Matthews, Gordon and Edelman would make me feel a lot better moving forward. It might be Patterson but what has Hogan done
