Restructure Sanu and hope he improves. Get a new FA X receiver to replace Dorsett and credibly take the top of the field. Draft a new WR as well. Also ok with letting Sanu go.
Get a new FA TE to replace Watson. Anyone that can block well and give us 30 catches a year and 500 yards, nothing crazy. Draft a move TE to help receiving game and make 2 TE sets credible. Keep one of LaCosse or Izzo.
Regardless of his point, I think it’s fair to say that Dorsett is long gone. He’s had 3 years to step up and never did.Yes, because the Patriots have won so many SBs with having a X that can take the Top off the field...
Think Meyers is that bad? He showed some potential. I think he looked like a decent fourth or five receiver, problem was we needed him to play well right now as a rookie.

Yes BB has never let tom hanging like that. From 07-10 he had Moss, who won his matchups in coverage. Edelman is small but he is fast and can shake anyone but he was used to compliment Gronk who was a matchup nightmare for most Defensive coordinators. Marty Bennett kind of took over this role when Gronk went down in 2016. This year we had zero players who consistently won their match ups in coverage, something unheard of in the BB era and its going to have to change for Tom to come back.Regardless of his point, I think it’s fair to say that Dorsett is long gone. No doubt, if they can get a group of Edelman's and Welkers and pass catching TEs they can win without a WR deep threat, but having Moss in 2007 sure did make that offense click and sure was fun to watch.Yes, because the Patriots have won so many SBs with having a X that can take the Top off the field...
I was expecting more from Harry, he didn't crack 100 yards in any of his games. I don't know if he can be a true number 1 receiver.
should have gotten metcalfSeriously, what makes people think NKeal Harry will "get better"? Guy played 9 games and showed no improvement...kept dropping balls since day 1, can't get separation, etc...
We all thought Hart Lee Dykes was a savior too...membah him?
Absolutely. Dorsett and guys like Hogan are good as long as there are other better pass catchers to coverage away from them. They really are JAGS at the position. That's not accurate. He did step up. For a stretch, he was hugely important to the team. The problem is that, for various reasons, he failed to maintain that level.
And I do think he's gone. It's too bad, because he probably would have flourished in an offense where AB and JE were commanding coverage both low and high.
I can't believe I have to make a post about this... (blah)...(blah)...(blah)
"End" the crap? Crap is that miscreant diva's middle name!I’d like to see us trade for OBJ and just end this WR crap.
you firstYou didn't have to make a post about this, or about anything else for that matter. In all honesty I doubt I'm alone in thinking it would actually be preferable if you didn't. Contrary to whatever the little voices in your head are telling you; you do in fact have the right to remain silent, it is the ability to that you seem to lack.
Throwing to Cooks seemed to work out pretty well in 2017, too.No doubt, if they can get a group of Edelman's and Welkers and pass catching TEs they can win without a WR deep threat, but having Moss in 2007 sure did make that offense click and sure was fun to watch.
