They come to Foxborough next season, I think it'd be too mean to do to those guys lol. I have nothing against these guys. Ryan and co are good dudes.

They're going to want a chance at redemption, especially at our home field while the Pats are celebrating. Also a good way to "get over it" rather than having a looming trip to Foxborough on their schedule for later in the year.

No better story line to start the season. Also be nice to get that one when 100% healthy.

The end of the season is interesting enough as the playoff race heats up. You need to have most of your most interesting matches early on IMO.

Carolina played in Denver in this season's opener so I wouldn't rule it out.
Yeah that was nowhere near as depressing though.

Patriots would blow them out by 20+

No...the Falcons are a nice team that I have nothing against and it will be so hard for them to come back from this. There is no need to torture them more.

I would much rather see us play any good dome teams at home as late in the season as possible.

The got blown out which is worse
I mean emotionally. That's gotta be the toughest Super Bowl loss ever by a large margin. Least the Broncos few years ago knew they were toast like all game.

"when you had them down, break their fking neck."

Different season. Different stakes.

You don't wanna see the team you lost to raise a banner on opening night? Then don't lose the game.

Set it up.

I think it's harder to recover from getting ***** slapped than losing a close game.

I agree they may never recover from this loss.

Kansas City Chiefs
San Diego Chargers
Atlanta Falcons
Carolina Panthers
Houston Texans
Miami Dolphins
New York Jets
Buffalo Bills

The only other game with marque value is the Chiefs unless Houston trades for Jimmy G and that becomes a story line.

The LA Chargers.

The LA Chargers.

I did a copy and past and didn't check it. Regardless it's going to take a lot longer to say the Los Angles Chargers than the Rams who were in LA when I was a kid.

I see Atlanta continuing the tradition of Super Bowl losers not even making the playoffs the following year.

They have definitely been a hot team over the past 2 months, but overall they were 11-5 and could stumble.
