The longest run was a 14 yard scramble by Montez, their QB. For a 1st game where our 1st String defense didn't play a lot, that's an improvement over the 4.6 YPC they gave up last year.He was the best of a bad lot last night, meaning our run defense still sucks.
Well, maybe you should learn from your horrible evaluations???As of last night I have officially given up trying to have JaWrong kicked out of the building...Langi & Straight Cassh were absolutely ****ing Terrible... And with McMillan on IR & Terez Hall on PUP, the job is his...Bill & the New Minions need to more-thoroughly scour the waiver wire for help; and that right soon...
Only morons worry about yards per attempt in a rookie's first game where he didn't have his top WRs to throw to.Cam should re-name Mac & Cheese Mac & CheckDown...4-1/2 yards per attempt after 19 passes is shocking, and not in a good way...
You're delusional. Nordin doesn't have to hit everything XP between now and the end of camp to make the team. And you also seem to have ignored that this is his first time kicking XPs from the 15. Not to mention that he's had to change everything about how he kicks. There'll be a couple of dozen Kickers on the street during Cut-Down Day...Unless he converts every single attempt the rest of the pre-season, then he can be stashed.
Of course you disagree about Dugger and Bryant. You're clueless. You've been slamming the picks of Dugger and Uche (not to mention Onwenu and Herron) since they were made. You've been wrong about every single one of them.Agree about Phillips, Bill's best value signing of the Post-Brady era...Completely disagree about Uncle Dugg & the mis-cast Bryant.
Tebow seems to have tendencies to block or run into his own teammates while trying something that should be blockingImagine you are on a high visibility project team, entering a critical time period. The team needs to hire a person with a specific technical expertise. Your boss hires a friend of his from his neighborhood, saying that the guy worked on a project team like ours once, and did a poor job of a different type of work, but he needs a job and is a bit lost in life right now, so he's going to give him a shot. In the meantime, everyone else has to work harder to try and make up for it, and stay silent and look the other way while the guy doesn't deliver.
That's what Meyer is doing with Tebow. And every snap he takes, some other guy is losing a bit of opportunity to prove himself NFL worthy.
Tebow just got released.
Tebow just got released.
While I agree that the use of the word “incredible” is a tad overzealous at face value, I’d still say that Mac did in fact look “incredible” in the sense that he understood pro concepts, had very good timing, poised, clean footwork, TO-free, showed command of the O etc…as a rookie. He was also allegedly the highest rated rookie QB in week 1 of the PS…Excuse the run-on sentence lolMac looked FAR from "incredible."
