The flying Elvis could be the worst logo in the league. It's so awful.

I remember when they announced they were changing the uni's, I (like most) was excited and ready for a change. But when they unvailed the Elvis logo, I almost threw up in my mouth.

The Pats unis are very average as far as unis go. I was never a big fan of the Elvis even when they came out with it. There are a ton of other "patriotic" symbols they could have used. Hell, I wouldn't have complained it they went to the old Boston Patriots tricorner hat logo.

The Elvis is really dated. Take one look at it and it screams early 90's graphic artist.

I would love to see the Red ones as a throwback, but I love the current Pats unis and the Elvis. To me, it signifies the Kraft/Parcells/Belichick/Bledsoe/Brady era of winning and being taken seriously.

I think Pat Patriot is lame...never liked that stupid cartoon looking thing.

The old Patriots red uniforms were sharp... but the teams were terrible. No thanks. I am not at all in favor of reviving the 'losing days' uniform. Once in a while the throwback uniforms in meaningless game might be fun to watch, but not permanently bringing them back. NO thanks.

Did anyone see how UGLY the steelers uniform/helmet combo looked against the Ravens?? That uniform needs to be put out of its misery like a dying dog!

I hated the current unis when they debuted, but these are the uniforms of our era, plus I've grown to like how they look. It's a more rugged look than the bright blue Parcells-era unis. Those were too cartoonish.

I always hated Pat Patriot when I was a kid. Flying Elvis kicks ass, its the coolest logo in sports.

I just get an overall "Slick, class, style" feel with the flying elvis and our our current colors. I personally think there's no team with a more professional/suave look then us. Without a doubt my favorite logo in the sports, bias aside. (When going through the NFL, my second choice would be the Texans)

Also the 90's colors for me personally weren't nearly as slick as our current ones, got more of a "Cartoonish" feel back then. (Weird word to use, I know)

Yup the 90's colors were just a little off. I forgot how much until I saw a pic of Bledsoe the other day.

this is more or less my thinking too...i would love to see the throwbacks and Pat Patriot on the helmet 2 or 3 times a year regularly

but this is not going to happen imho

what we can expect is, if they will return as 3rd uniform (no more the silver one) to see the Pats play 1 game every year starting next year

Why do we have to keep having new threads on this topic? The old red unis and cartoon character Pat belong banished to antiquity as vestiges of a bygone, losing tradition. :bricks: (Notice the bricks are "red.")
