I watch the film, that’s why I called out your ignorant comment.

Lowe isn’t one of the top 5 and that defender was nowhere near in 10s face btw.

So a backup who has been in the league for years is your proof 2 of the top 5 don’t belong in the league?

The defense was 17/21 and 24/34? The defense score 30 ppg? No.
If 10 could have done the same thing WHY HASNT HE???
Zappe started 2 games and out up 38 and 29.
In the last 2 years 10 started 24. His best of thr 24 games was 29 points, tied with the worst Zappe game. 23 of 24 he couldn’t do the same thing. Now do you see why?

Denial as always is the first stage of coping.

These days BB apologists sound like they're defending the Alamo. LMAO

What are you talking about?

I am assessing the performance of the team. The overriding problem is the QB. There really isn’t a question. And if you did question it how in the world did the same team play significantly better when the qb was out? With a mediocre at best qb replacing him?

You are so twisted up in your need to blame someone because your vicarious association isn’t going as well as you wish that you actually think that identifying the players who are the biggest problem is defending your token object of blame.

You seriously need to find a different hobby.

Anything to deflect from the HC/GM who built this mess. Lol.

I don't feel the OL improved pass blocking. Run blocking yes definitely. We couldn't even do that at the beginning of the year.

To me Mac is not the guy because he can't put the team on his back and win, he has not shown he's a leader and his team doesn't look at him as a leader. Leaders shouldn't fall apart and get all emotional. And in this era of football a high floor/low ceiling guy also limits how good you can be.
To your earlier point, each component is dependent on the the other parts of the offense. This is not fantasy football, you can't simply draft a new offense. The team needs to evaluate each component to determine how that position contributes to the whole because changes occur at the individual player level. The QB can look better than he is if the rest of the offense is good or bad if the rest of the offense is bad, especially the OL. If the only problem was the OL and the QB was ok, I would expect the QB play to improve if run blocking is better through play action, etc., even if the pass blocking was still sub par. Using the data to triangulate, it shows that the QB needs to improve and the OL still needs attention. At the end of the day it is very easy to blame management when things are bad, the reality is that finding a new QB and rebuilding on the fly is virtually impossible in the NFL. Whether it is BB or someone(s) new, I hope that they have the perspective necessary to build for the long term and not panic when things inevitably get rough along the way.

Aint nothing wrong standing up for BB. He has done a ton of good for this organization.

If he's here next year, and I hope he is, all the better.

So your group think, tone deaf, one-trick pony approach is a good one?

Sorry but I prefer to think for myself.

Tyquan is 6'2, he jumps almost forty inches in the air and had the longest arms of any WR in his draft class, arms longer than many offensive linemen... and Mac overthrew him.

Mac overthrew him in the Washington game when he was wide open. Mac sucks.

SB1 is a troll, he’ll disagree with anything anybody says that might skew positive at all.

He says he doesn’t think Mac is the guy, but defends him here ad nauseam. And when he doesn’t have a response to a logical question, he’ll just copy/paste some nonsense that he’s done ten times before.

Talking to him is like pissing into the wind.

Saying Mac is not the guy is “defending him”. Lmao ok

Mac Jones is the new Laurence Maroney. Some people will defend him no matter what.
Hey! That pick was fine. It's not like there were 5 Pro Bowl RBs picked after him...

Who else should we blame for drafting and building an inferior roster and this QB?

Answer to this thread title is:

It doesn't matter. Even if Mac does okay and wins in Giants game, and say, goes 4-3 down the stretch, it's still over.
It also doesn't matter if Zappe starts the rest of the way and does the same.
I think it's an overhaul this offseason - QBs, WRs, OC, HC.

It is what it is. Every organization has down times.
We had the greatest dynasty ever, kept it alive as long as possible, longer than anyone and now are rebuilding. It’s going like most rebuilds go.
I’m not sure why blame is even required. It is what it is.

mac clearly has no time to throw here

You bending over backwards to explain why Mac doesn’t suck and blaming everything else is defending him.

Didn't realize that saying the team sucks and it's not just a QB problem here is bending over backwards to explain why Mac doesn't suck... especially since I've said the opposite many times.

Yes it is.

And no rebuilding team can point to the QB as the single point of failure or why they're rebuilding.

Mac sucks, the majority of the offensive players around him have been successful in the NFL already…. they have track records.

Your faulty math doesn’t compute…

The 49ers were 1-10 with Beathard and Hoyer at QB. JimmyG took over and won the last five games.

You say things as if they’re factual but provide no facts to bolster them. It’s fluff, nonsense…
