Cut day is Saturday by 4pm EST. Generally team try to do a lot of the cuts that very day.
However with the Patriots playing Thursday this makes Saturday into what would usually be a prep for the team in a normal week.
My thought is should they make cuts early to try to make this week as normal as possible for the players? The down side is you show your hand early and a lot of the PS guys you might want could be picked up. The upside is you get all set and are ready for the other team's cuts and ready to scoop them up without worrying much about yourself.
Just some food for thought.
