“I’ve sent it back to the league and I’m going to appeal it, hands down, I’m going to appeal it,” Wilfork said during the show. “The only thing people have against me is they question my arm. A lot of people want to question why my arm went out. I tell them the same thing. If I sit here and push you from behind, see what your arms do?

“But I’m moving forward with it. I’m very positive. My fans understand me. My wife understands me. I could care less what critics say about me"

I really like Vince. He's working hard, always smiling, staying positive.

Nose tackles do tend towards the fat and lazy (maybe unfair, that's a lot of weight to carry around) , but Vince is a worker.

If I sat there, and Wilfork pushed me from behind, far more than my arms would go flying...lol...

I am proud of you Wilfork.

Stand up for what is right, act on your beliefs. That gets you far in life.

Too bad you knocked loserface out of the game, because now the Bills have a QB...

Vince:

I'm currenlty compiling a list of people I would like to see you push from behind so we can study their reaction....

1. Eric Mangini
2. Roger Godell......

Will Vince push only football related people, or can we expand the list? If so, how about:

Britney
The two guys in the McDonalds commercial
Al Sharpton

If only football related, then definitely, Tony Kornheiser (I am giving the twerp a bereak by calling him football related...)

I like Vince's reasoning. Its funny AND true.

Vince can push anyone he wants to...

How sad is your life when an actual Judge looks at you and decides that your children are "better off" with K-Fed!!! than you.

Good for you Vince! Let them look at more than the CBS shot and see if they change their minds! Pulling for you!

This is really good. I haven't felt right about him being rules guilty from the moment it happened.

Not surprised..he talked Tuesday about this...as for others I'd liek to see pushed...Losman..TJ Housh...many other Patriot haters.

he was definitely pushed, but he would have hit his foot or maybe his lower ankle if he didn't intentionally raise his elbow at the last minute. I don't believe he was trying to catch himself, and if it was brady on the receiving side of that hit all hell would break loose around here.

Come to my house. I'll tackle you from behind and we'll film it. Care to bet on how often you're proven wrong in 10 tackles?

1) He wasn't pushed forward, he was pulled back.
2) He didn't raise his elbow, his hands were as high as the QB's shoulders and about 15 inches away from the QB's body, with momentum towards the quarterback to wrap him up at his waist, when all of a sudden he dropped like a fly and twisted to the left. Videotape shows he had to abort and that the original Buffalo blocker had been pushing down Wilfork's legs, thereby slowing him in mid-air. That slight delay meant he was now risking being late so he turned to the left to avoid the guy. Had he not been pulled in mid-air by two Buffalo players, you can see he would have reached the QB's waist when he was still high enough and early enough to contact the QB.
3) If this was Tom Brady, we would be in an uproar because Vince Wilfork is not one to hit QB's illegally, nevermind his own quarterback.
