Wild Card Weekend: Cincinnati Bengals at Houston Texans
By: John Morgan

The Bengals look to avenge last year's playoff loss while winning their first playoff game since 1989........

The only surprise on the Texans’ inactives is fullback Tyler Clutts, who played all 16 games in the regular season but will not play in today’s playoff opener. The Texans’ other inactives are CB Roc Carmichael, CB Stanford Routt, G Antoine Caldwell, T Andrew Gardner, G Cody White and NT Terrell McClain.

The Bengals’ inactives are WR Dane Sanzenbacher, CB Jason Allen, S Chris Crocker, HB Daniel Herron, DT Devon Still, DT Brandon Thompson and TE Richard Quinn.

Rooting for a close, physical game, and hopefully OT.

Unless the Bengals win, in which case hopefully it's 35-0 by halftime and starters rest the whole 2nd half.

I know it's really wrong but for a few milliseconds there I was wishing that the Texans had beaten the colts so that I could get my Pats fix now!!

Obviously I'm delighted it happened the other way though!

Think the texans are going to scrape through this and we'll play them next week!

Re: ****** (un)Official Bengals-Texans wild card game thread ******

these announcers are going to kill me.....a decent gain is a yard?

Re: ****** (un)Official Bengals-Texans wild card game thread ******

"Thats a win for the Cincinnati defense right there." A 3 and out on the first drive of the game is a win? Huh, learned something new.

Re: ****** (un)Official Bengals-Texans wild card game thread ******

Someone should tell Gresham that the game's already started.

Man these teams don't look very good during their first series.

Apparently it's not officially official unless Nut starts it. :D

I know we have a better chance at a fair game if we get Houston, than if we end up with the Colts or Ravens, but I can't stand the Texans. And I have a soft spot for Dalton and the Bengals.

I'm so torn on who to pull for.

Orange cut Peko? :p

Simple. I'm rooting for Houston to win but to get the crap beat out of them.

Me too. We can beat any of the possibilities so I am rooting for the outcome that will beat up on Denver the most. If Cincinnati looks shaky we're better off with Houston winning and hope Baltimore roughs up Denver.

Plus, like him or not, Flacco showed last year he can go to a hostile stadium and play well. He outplayed Brady last year in Foxboro.

Are they getting players back?

I just started thinking about that too. Bengals dominate them thoroughly but homer refs screw the Bengals and Houston gets the win. I like it!:D

They rested guys last week, including Ray Rice and Flacco. Lewis and Suggs will be back, plus Ngata and Yanda.

I think Baltimore going to Denver wouldn't be a bad thing. They got embarrassed at home, so there would be some motivation.
