I don't mean to sound critical, but it seems like out of all positions, wide receiver in the draft has been our worst. I don't know why our front office and BB has such trouble evaluating talent at WR, but it's come back to bite us in the ass a few times.
2003:
What were we thinking drafting Bethel Johnson over Anquan Boldin?(Bolding went 10 picks later)
2006: It still pains me to this day that we chose Chad Jackson over Greg Jennings. In fairness, at the time it seemed like a great pick.
2009: Selecting Brandon Tate over Mike Wallace. This one really stings. How badly would you guys want Mike Wallace on our team right now? He'd be the icing on the cake to our offense.
2010: Taylor Price over Mike Williams? Time will tell. I like Price a lot.
I don't mean to sound too critical, every front office has there mishaps. New England did draft a few good WR's like Deion Branch and David Givens. However, under BB's reign, we have not drafted one pro bowl WR. We have done a good job picking up established WR's Moss, Welker, Stallworth, Ochocinco.
