Why play the game????

I been sayin 38-17 the last couple days now. Just remember I said it. I'll be back for crow if I'm wrong. Although I think i should put my apron and chef hat on now. Because I know I will be serving out alot of it.

You are an idiot. Plain and simple.

exactly I think thats why I came to this board so defensive. All year long everyone has been talking in the Chargers favor then all of the sudden we play the patriots the medias favorite team and Brady is god, the pats are unstoppable because they are playing well and the Chargers with marty will choke. I apologize if I upset any of you with my opinions and normally I don't attack this much but I figured since the media is saying it you guys had to be buying into it and it was my job to show the reality of the situation. As i get to read what most of you are really saying i think it is actually agreed on both sides that it will be a great game in which the bolts are favored to win for good reason.

Like we listen to the media. :snob:

btw, have you watched/read the media this year? The Pats ARE NOT the media's favorite team and the media have been extremely critical of them. So plug in before you start with stupid statements. When you win 3 superbowls in 5 years, you get some accolades. Some day, if you are lucky to experience that...you may understand. But, you actually NEED to win something before the media will give you any props.

You really have a high opinion of yourself. How much are you getting paid to do this job? If it's more than .01, you are being over paid.

hey i didnt say i dont know why the pats get props. and have gave them props myself. I am far from an idiot and haven't called anyone here an idiot. Regardless if they have been critical or not they have been talking about them. I was actually apologizing but I guess your lack of intelligence couldn't comprehend that. Actually what I said makes just about as much sense as the reasons you gave for me being an idiot so i consider us even and you can accept or deny my apology and move on from there.

Judging by your prior work and all the gas you have been spewing...and I have yet to see any "media" predicting a Patriot win...You are an idiot. Plain and simple.

it always amazes me moron people who create a user id and post on a opposing teams messageboard.

They have nothing intelligent to say about their team. All they can do is denegrate their opponent.

All us Bolt fans know that by Thursday every media hack is going to be swinging from BB's and Brady's johnson, so we sort of feel like the world's against us and we get no respect.

ROFL No respect? Your team is favored by 5 to win. I don't see how that's no respect. The real team that is not getting respect is the Pats. 3 Superbowl Championships. Brady is 13-2 in the postseason and you expect the Chargers to beat our Pats by 20. That's what I call NO RESPECT!

Pats will end up winning this game. Whether it comes down to a field goal or not I don't care. I just want to shut up these obnoxious charger fans who suddenly think they are worldbeaters when their team has won NOTHING to show they deserve RESPECT.

I'll agree that LT is the best halfback in football but no way do I agree the Chargers are the best team. That's why they play the game on the FIELD and not on paper. See you Sunday! I think you guys will be eating the crow!

lol I'm never an idiot. Perhaps I hurt your feelings by showing how your team SHOULD get dominated.

Really? Never an idiot? 232 posts say that you are.

Back in October of 1974, many respected boxing historians and ex-world champions said that they believed that George Foreman was the strongest and hardest punching heavyweight champion in boxing history – something that is endorsed by many even to this day. Former heavyweight greats Jack Dempsey and Joe Louis, who both knew a thing or two about punching, agreed that Foreman was the most powerful heavyweight they had ever seen. The prevailing thought going into the Foreman-Ali fight wasn't if Foreman would win, but how much punishment would Ali endure before he was stopped? Many fighters who had been in the ring with both fighters either as a sparring partner or an opponent all agreed that if Ali tried to lay against the ropes to save his energy instead of using his legs to stay away, Foreman might beat him to death.

On October 29, 1974, as a 3-1 underdog, Ali stopped Foreman in the eighth round to regain the undisputed heavyweight title. But let's clear something up. Ali didn't beat Foreman by out-boxing him. He beat him because he had a cast-iron chin and took a punch to the body better than any other heavyweight in boxing history. Ali only really got to Foreman after enduring a terrific pounding. He has said many times over the years that
Foreman cut off the ring too effectively and if he tried boxing him he would have been totally spent after about eight rounds. To say that Foreman was defeated by Ali because he was out-boxed could not be more wrong. Unless someone else was in the ring with Ali during the fight, I'd say Ali has the best insight as to what was going on during the fight. It was Ali's toughness and durability that enabled him to survive Foreman's assault. Had Ali been just a little less resilient and physically strong, he would have been stopped.

LOL, pro bowlers?

These are who should be pro bowlers...

Seymour, Brady, Samuel, Warren.

It was funny and lame how Phillip Rivers got into the PB over Brady. But then again, who even watches the pro bowl? Its a stupid popularity contest.

Damn, that was a fine read.

Thanks, FilPats.
