That’s why I have an anonymous Twitter account. After every tweet my followers probably ask : “why did he tweet that?”

I do not like the idea of a Patriots player tweeting about game strategy successes or failures. Butler, Brady, McCourty, whomever. IMHO:

I agree, but I don't really see this as falling into that category. None of us know exactly where it was coming from.
I do agree that it COULD be interpreted as a tweak to the coaches and the fact the tweet could be interpreted that way is something I also don't like. If he was tweaking himself he could've made it clearer. So I agree with you about players commenting on game strategy-thats not what I had a problem with- it's the knee-jerk assumption by some that it was negative when they don't know what it was.

Malcolm Butler has played the NFL's #1 wr better than any cb in the league- Antonio Brown has said that himself. The NFL is about matchups- MB matches up better with AB than any other Pat's cb, or for that matter, any other cb in the NFL. Why in the world would you change that?

As long as he helps the team win. He’s been a tremendous find and even if (when) he leaves after the season - I’ll be grateful for his contributions to SB trophies.

Kinda surprised he is still on the team. Thought he was gone during NO Saints courtship.

He did it. He’s lying when he says he didn’t do it, and all of you would say the same if this was a non patriot.

It’s not a big deal, but it’s not how the franchise likes things done, it’s a strike against him, and he’s not gonna be back next year.
