That’s why I have an anonymous Twitter account. After every tweet my followers probably ask : “why did he tweet that?”

    I know I do!

I agree, but I don't really see this as falling into that category. None of us know exactly where it was coming from.
I do agree that it COULD be interpreted as a tweak to the coaches and the fact the tweet could be interpreted that way is something I also don't like. If he was tweaking himself he could've made it clearer. So I agree with you about players commenting on game strategy-thats not what I had a problem with- it's the knee-jerk assumption by some that it was negative when they don't know what it was.

Me. Never tweeted in my life and 100% not interested. That goes for all of so-called social media. Could care less about it. Too busy living real life.

Butler has lost a lot of money thus far. Let's see if he can have himself a good game against the squealers.

If I'm BB though I put my 15 Million dollar cornerback on their best player.

    Glad you're not BB.
Malcolm Butler has played the NFL's #1 wr better than any cb in the league- Antonio Brown has said that himself. The NFL is about matchups- MB matches up better with AB than any other Pat's cb, or for that matter, any other cb in the NFL. Why in the world would you change that?

All I care about. But I'd still put Gilmore on Brown.

It’s a good thing I have never hit reply all to an email and made a sarcastic comment that offended a few of the recipients...oooh...nevermind

Butler just said it was an accident. No reason not to take him at his word.

As long as he helps the team win. He’s been a tremendous find and even if (when) he leaves after the season - I’ll be grateful for his contributions to SB trophies.

Kinda surprised he is still on the team. Thought he was gone during NO Saints courtship.

I love all the people defending Butler here..

He did it. He’s lying when he says he didn’t do it, and all of you would say the same if this was a non patriot.

It’s not a big deal, but it’s not how the franchise likes things done, it’s a strike against him, and he’s not gonna be back next year.

Are you an analyst?!! Very good assessment!

It’s about the rate, not the total
