I meant the calls for the defense on the whole, though more specifically the front 7. Wilson should be able to handle the secondary calls by now.

I read a theory on last year's Patriots injury problems in the secondary. (I can't remember the author's name right now) But basically he said the Pats secondary was decimated last year because of the poor play of the ILBs. The safties had to clean up way too much and they were cleaning up against some rather big boys.
If he's correct then we could be in for another rough year of injuries unless the LB situation is resolved in TC.

That's a really interesting theory.
 
IMO Hawkins and Sanders are backups at Safty. Hawkins IMO did a terrific job stabilizing the secondary when he was put in the lineup. Hopefully Sanders will stap and contribute this year.

The secondary has the potential to be the deepest in the BB era.
