Who will be the starting QB this week?

I think it is real possibility Matt will not want start this Sunday prefeing to be with his family.

Or Matt could miss the week of practice and feel ready to play but the coaching staff decided that they would rather play a QB that was at practice all week. (yes, players miss practice do to injuries and then play that week, but they are at practice taking mental reps and are in film study.)

So who do you think will start at QB this week.

I feel that MC will play this weekend. I will have full respect for him if he dosent, but I think he will.

I have no idea as I am not affiliated with the organization other than I'm a fan. But my gut is telling me Matt starts this weekend. It's Wednesday and he'll miss some practice but my gut is saying that it'll once again be Matt Cassel time.

I think Matt will end up wanting to play (although it'd certainly be understandable if he sat this one out). O'Connell has been the #2 all year, so he'll almost certainly start if Cassel decides not to play.

Of course. but we have threads speculating about where chargers will draft in the second round and the impact of traveling to london next year. why not speculate early about THIS sunday.

Sometimes tragic losses can result in inspired play, I just hope Matt does whatever he needs to this week. Football should not be a top priority right now.

And just a note and not to sound insensitive, I remember the last time a grieving son played the Raiders.

I feel Matt will play to honor his father. It's good that his dad got to see him finally be an NFL starting QB and have so much success.

I don't see Matt not playing with so much on the line and his teammates depending on him.
