Most of you know I am a Ravens fan but I am curious too know.

1- Who is your favorite Patriot before the TB12 Era?
2- During the TB12 Era

I personally always enjoyed Edelman and Ty Law

P.S. Ray Lewis murdered someone just for any of you who might mention it

Curtis Martin and Rodney Harrison

Grogs...

Wasnt into football pre-tb era, during the TB era I gotta say the Squirrel was my favorite! Him and Dola are my favorite football duo

Before TB: Andre Tippett
TB era, not named Tom Brady: Tedy Bruschi
Favourite Pat ever: Tom Brady

Half of the people here don’t know any pre-TB12 Pats (hence, their persistent state of mourning since March 2020).

Pre (and still my all-time favorite):

Pre TB: Steve Grogan

Post TB not including TB: Ty Law

Brady led them to 6 Lombardi’s-Brady

After I have it’s really tough to pick one of many, but I have to go with Bruschi.

I loved Willie and Troy Brown but Drew Bledsoe was my favorite and my hope for the Pats. I think he put the Patriots on the map nationally. Personally I saw a difference in Brady immediately. He just had "it"

Prior to Brady...this guy made so many huge plays that storybook 1985 season...as a guy who started watching the Pats in the early 80s, I loved this guy....I also got his autograph at a local department store during the 85 season....

There are so many but Tom Brady and Drew Bledsoe are probably my 2 top

Brady gave us the W
Bledsoe created hopes after a very dark period

Pat patriot logo and 1970-1980 beginning 1990 best uniforms ever

My favorite pre-Brady Pat would be Gino Cappelletti. He wasn't the most athletic guy out there but he did the most with what he had. He made many clutch field goals to win games and was also a steady pass catcher. Second would be Steve Grogan. He was famous for his naked reverses where he would either make a long gain or get crushed. The guy was always in a cast, at least so it seemed. One tough dude.

1 Edelman
2 Gronk
3 Bruschi
4 R. Harrison
5. Brady
