My bad friend. In my old age it seems as though I have less control over my keyboard thumb... of course I don' the dislike that !
LOL.

Hard to pick just one. So many great players across the field to admire and respect.
Today and in the past.
I always liked Joe Kapp..BEFORE he came here..

I was real excited when the Pats acquired Kapp. I was also young and naive

Ray Nitschke. He was a guided missile in the shape of a madman. So much fun to watch. He'd lose his entire salary each year to fines under today's rules, of course, and he'd be single-handedly responsible for a major CTE epidemic.

There are too many to choose from so I'll have to name a few.

Jim Brown is the best but Gale Sayers was fun to watch. So was John Riggins.

Johnny U for QBs, but I also liked Len Dawson, Joe Namath, Starr and Staubach.

Lynn Swann, no, Paul Warfield, wait, Raymond Berry. Forget it, Randy Moss.

LT and **** Butkus because they were so nasty. Throw Mike Curtis and Jack Lambert in there too.

Ted Hendricks was fun. Then there's always Conrad Dobler for pure...uhhhh...competitiveness, let's call it.

Marshawn Lynch.... those press conferences before sb49

Pat Tillman is mine. on and off the field. what an inspirational person he was. the world could use a lot more Pat Tillmans. he was a true patriot.

I came up with several, but there's no point in it after you named Tillman. I'm ashamed to say I forgot about him. Spot on.

joe klecko

Tough choice, but probably these 4:

Jim Taylor - Packers hard nosed FB
Gale Sayers - a gazelle of a running back
**** Butkus - perhaps the original "beast"
Jimmy Brown - an amazing combo of skill and power

Offense: Hines Ward
Defense: Brian Urlacher
Special teams: Devin Hester

Bo Jackson and it ain't even close. Jason Taylor is a distant second.

Earl Campbell
Edit: already mentioned.
Rickey Jackson
Robert Brazille
Harry Carson

Jack Youngblood....he was John Wayne and Clint Eastwood rolled into one person. Sure he played the SB on a broken leg. He also made the Pro Bowl nearly every year of his career and was the best player on a defense that carried that team through the 70s.

Barry and Deion Sanders!

Barry Sanders for me too...amazing what that guy could do.

For current players, give me Breezus.
