Speaking from experience, the problem with Fitz, even though he beat New England here in Buffalo is that his consistency and predictability are as unfavorable as the Rex effect on team with callous disregard. We traded a reckless QB for a reckless coach. The dolphins are the sleeper but probably have the coach to do it......... nearly a 3 way tie for screwing up the Pats homefield advantage.

I think that Rex can outsmart your backup though... the question is can that overcome the reckless abandon his team will trot onto the field? IF the Bill's can be treated fairly (something they haven't earned, instead earning the bullies of the league and the flags) then possibly Buffalo has shown the ability to confuse the great one.

I would have to say that the biggest threat in the division is....

Roger Goodell

Are you talking about in 2018 or 2019?

Welcome to the board and thanks for respectfully sharing your insights.

i think it's the jets and it's not even close.

i don't think any of them actually have a chance to WIN the division, but the jets are the best team in the division besides the pats. the only other team that could actually end up being a top 5 team in the AFC imo

I voted jets for one reason only...seems woody finally got lucky in his coaching hunt and wound up with a quiet, smart, professional x's and o's kind of guy. Not sure how that happened but hey even a stopped clock is right twice a day. So while I might argue that the bills are more talented I just know rex's brand of foosball is no threat.

Woody brought in Charlie Casserly to help pick a GM and coach.

So it wasn't as much luck as it was humility on Woody's part.

The Jets might be ok, but they're the frickin' NY Jets so who are we kidding? Everyone in the AFC East knows who's their Daddy.

Jets 1st 6 games are Bengals, Bills (they always lose to the Bills), Chiefs, Seahawks, Steelers, Cards. Best case scenario is 2-4, likely is 1-5, and there is a chance at 0-6.

I just don't see them recovering from the first part of the season. Jets will be back to a high draft pick next year while the Pats win the division again.

I personally think there is not a threat, but if I had to pick one, I will say Buffalo.
  • Stout D
  • Raw, But Taltented QB
  • Playmakers on Offense
I feel like I am more of a fan of Tyrod Taylor than some (I think he has some skills). I don't trust Tannehill and the Jets are just... the Jets.

Jets since that D-Line is fantastic
