The poll is about who you want to be HC, but let's also discuss who you think it will be.

Also: points for figuring out JMCCHWOAPB.

Mods: feel free to merge with another thread.

If I had my pick, I’d choose Steve Belichick; of realistic possibilities, I’d be very happy with either Vrabel or Mike McCarthy, if he ends up getting fired from Dallas.

RLKAG in a poll for me is a choice already in the bag.

I want Vrabel because I feel like he is the most plugged in and will make the biggest difference to bring change to the front office and coaching ranks. I dont think he’s gonna come in and immediately start competing for Super Bowls but I feel like he can put the organization on the right track and be respectable in a few years. I need someone else coming in and shopping for the groceries too. I have no faith in Wolf.

Vrabel had 2 very good seasons , 2 average and 2 really bad..,..He had Henry there all along and he was amazing there for several years providing a lot of O….. a little concerned that four of the years were average or horrible… But hopefully he will be great here if that’s what theKraft’s decide

Itll be Vrabel, another bonus for hiring Vrabel is that it would quiet the chatter from ex-Pats players about how Jerod got a rough deal

I would pick Vrabel if a gun was to my head but I am definitely very interested in BJ if he is interested in the Pats.

After them, I would probably say guys like Joe Brady and maybe Marcus Freeman from ND.

I don’t think McCarthy is the guy ….at least not here. Honestly surprised he lasted so long in Dallas

The best special teams coach in the league.

They need to interview candidates and see what their plans are. Who will be the GM? It's a horrible idea to force the new HC to work with the GM who seemingly did a horrible job signing and drafting players.

The new HC and GM should be a tandem hire.

If we go with Vrabel, get the GM he wants to work with. Same with Ben or anyone else they are thinking of hiring as HC.

Another person I'd throw out there is Flores. His team played hard for him in Miami and his units as a DC always plays hard for him.

I hope they have a wide coaching search to hear different opinions on how each coach would manage the team. I think Kraft goes with Vrabel because of his experience and he probably doesn't want to hire another 1st year coach because of the Mayo fiasco.
