Who are you rooting for in this weeks San Diego/Denver game?

I've got 2 hats riding on Pats vs. Denver this season.

1. My co-worker bet me a hat Denver would go further than NE.

2. Also bet another hat NE would not win a Superbowl in the next 5 years.

I came to work today and he asked me what my hat size was. I told him I'm not sure...my head keeps getting bigger with every Pats win.

Said his team wasn't even good enough to talk smack.

I told him they were this close to being 0 and 4.

Probably SD (and Cincy, Buffalo but not the Maginas) so that everyone will shut up about our easy schedule so far.

I don’t know about you guys, but I’d LOVE to play Denver in the playoffs this year.

It’d be awesome seeing Brady and the team finally getting past them in the playoffs, then putting to rest that they are the one team that has our number. It’d be lovely!

Kind of like I WANT the Sox to face the Yankees in the ALCS this year, it just makes the run so much sweeter. (Of course not directly comparing the Yankees to the Broncos, just teams I like my respective teams to beat en route to glory)

It's an interesting thought, but it does bring to light the fact that this Denver team is very, very flawed.

No pass rush worthy of the name.

Questionable linebacking corps.

With no pass rush, Bailey and Bly are left hanging out to dry, looking increasingly mortal.

Of greater import, however, is the fact they can't stop the run.

Funny how the genius that is Shanahan hasn't been able to do much of anything in the absence of a guy named Elway.

But then, that's just me...

I guess the point here is that in the AFCW, it's going to become a matter of losses, rather than wins. So really, who can say who's going to take it. Oakland? Stranger things have happened.

I heard on ESPN that the SD fans want Norv fired before midseason and Marty to be hired back - What a bunch of fairy tale morons chargers fans are.

Too much hippie lettuce and Acid.

SD Victory.
1) Helps our Strength of opponents argument
2) Helps our playoff hopes
3) Denver/Shanahan are best not to be faced (at mile high)
maybe they can just beat each other up good....

Denver won't catch the Patriots for home field, and is a weaker team than in years past. San Diego still has enough talent to be very dangerous if that team can put it together.

Go Broncos!

Too much? Then send some this way.

But seriously, folks, barring an unlikely, best-case tie, I will reluctantly root for SD. We own the tiebreaker against them, and I really despise the donkeys - they should be 0-4 (had they defeated the dolts, I would settle for 1-3).

Last season, I wanted the donkeys to beat SF, so that we could beat them at the Razor in the POs (BB/Pees would have had the rookie Cutler for lunch) and the Rats could go to Indy and possibly upset the undeserving dolts. This season, this early, I almost always root against the HC with the perpetually-constipated look on his face.

Definitely need to root for SD - we have a 4 game lead on them for playoff seeding (3 games plus head-to-head tiebreaker) - but only 2 games on Denver. Also, while I have NO confidence in career head coaching LOSER Norv Turner, I would love to see the Chargers make a STRONG comeback and CRUSH THE COLTS on 11/11.

Denver/ I want to see,and here LT whine again along with all the fans.I can't get enough of Mr. class himself makeing excuses.

I think the Broncos are going to toss a big monkey wrench into the Chargers season on Sunday....and how about those Raiders?

Rooting for Denver. The way the Patriots are playing, I could care less which one of them they faced in the playoffs. So, for me, it's all about this game.

I'd like to see San Diego lose again. They handle it sooooooo badly.

For some, character is grown through adversity; for others character is revealed. San Diego seems to be the latter.

SD, let them get knocked out of it before it even begins and then lets start rooting against the Broncos

More importantly is pray for a IND letdown against TB with INDY being seriously banged up.

#1 seed has to be the most important thing. We've never had that during this SB run

I don't care who wins this game. Its really not going to matter in the end.I'm about to go out on a huge limb and say KC will win that division.Yes they did start out slow due to their 1st 2 games being on the road. The Chiefs is the hottest team in that division right now IMO.Their win in San Diego was very impressive to me.

We were #1 seed during the 2003 POs (14-2; KC was #2 at 13-3), but your point is very well taken. We have not yet won a SB without a first-round bye. Any team who can help us acheive that goal is the team for whom I'll be rooting, that particular week; and that includes SD, the Rats, etc.

At this point I want every team we play to be in top form. No injuries, ("if x player was healthy") no more excuses and lame rationalizations from the other teams like LT or Hosh ("we can beat any team we just have to do it"). I want them to be shaking their heads and saying "we never had a chance".

I don't want this to be one of the few games a crappy SD team wins and keeps us from facing a better Broncos team later. I want no senarios where "if pats had to play x team to get to the Super Bowl it would have been a different story".

I think San Diego is a sinking ship and would like to see them go under completely. I would like to see Denver to build so we can play the best.

Bring em all on with the best they got. I really want to see our team put to the test.

I want LT to have the best game of his career, and then I want SD to lose! I want to see that ***** cry the whining, baby, ass that he is.
