Damn, we've won so many that we're running out of places to put 'em? Good problem to have.
Hang 2001, 2003 & 2004 on left side of Score Board.
Hang 2014, 2016 And leave a space for this year 2017 Banner.
We have 3 on each side of Score Board.
What about the 2015 AFC participation banner?
I have it on good authority that eighteenth century recreational sports attire in Boston was red. Plus, the architect of the greatest dynasty in sports was not named "Blue Auerbach".Red should not the primary color of the Patriots, ever. It was the primary color of the original enemies of the Patriots, namely the Redcoats.
It looks spiffy, I grant you, but historically makes no sense whatsoever.
As to the logo, I like both. Elvis has grown on me and while Pat Patriot is quaint, it is also pretty cartoonish and non modern-looking.
But I am nowhere nearly as worked-up about this issue, one way or another, as you apparently are!
This isn't even close to the same as an AFC Finalist banner.
Well, I think if Tom goes bald, or shaves his head, then...I don't think we will ever have a big fancy vegas/LA type stadium maybe an outdoors one somewhat but I don't ever see us being a dome team
It's like, the old Bruins of the NFL.In the pantheon of Colts banners, an AFC Finalist banner actually has elite status. They hang a banner for each and every playoff appearance. Yes, they hang wild card participant banners.
I bet BB was asked this already and was like "Stick it wherever, I'm onto 2017"
