Where Should The 2016 Banner Go?

Damn, we've won so many that we're running out of places to put 'em? Good problem to have.

and I'm sure a problem that Kraft has no problems whatsoever dropping some money down to solve lol

I hated the 16-0 banner at first but now I don't hate it at all. 16-0 is a historical accomplishment. This team had the onions to go for 16-0 and got it. Other teams (like the Colts) didn't on both counts.

This isn't even close to the same as an AFC Finalist banner. Lots of teams are AFC Finalists. AFC Finalist is nice but it's a forgettable accomplishment and doesn't mean squat once a new AFC Finalist is "crowned" the next season. Only one team in history is 16-0 and there's a good reason for that. I doubt any other team will duplicate that accomplishment in our lifetime. Nobody will forget the team that went 16-0. Of course nobody will forget they lost the Super Bowl but 16-0 is why that won't be forgotten either.

I think the banner should have stayed up.

Red should not the primary color of the Patriots, ever. It was the primary color of the original enemies of the Patriots, namely the Redcoats.

It looks spiffy, I grant you, but historically makes no sense whatsoever.

As to the logo, I like both. Elvis has grown on me and while Pat Patriot is quaint, it is also pretty cartoonish and non modern-looking.

But I am nowhere nearly as worked-up about this issue, one way or another, as you apparently are!
I have it on good authority that eighteenth century recreational sports attire in Boston was red. Plus, the architect of the greatest dynasty in sports was not named "Blue Auerbach".

It doesn't matter. According to the NFL, it is "more probable than not" that I will win both Powerball and Megamillions this weekend, and will parlay that to gain control of the team...there's plenty "historically inaccurate" about Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Dallas, San Francisco and Kansas City's uniforms but their fans still get to see their legendary teams which they rooted for for thirty-three years every week.

Plus all the former and current players totally prefer the real uni's. I'm surprised Tom hasn't already approached his neighbor and said, "You know, every time I see that league-concocted flying elvis it makes me think of Goodell. Can we look like the Patriots this season?...YES? All Right!!!! Let's Gooooo!!!! Number Six!!!"

Those red uniformed teams (with the mascot taking a dump) were losers. Blue and flying elvis = championships.

Besides, the four major sports teams are represented by different colors this way. We're not like Pittsburgh, where every team is black and piss yellow.

In the pantheon of Colts banners, an AFC Finalist banner actually has elite status. They hang a banner for each and every playoff appearance. Yes, they hang wild card participant banners.

The Patriots really have too many.
They should send it to Indianapolis.

I don't think we will ever have a big fancy vegas/LA type stadium maybe an outdoors one somewhat but I don't ever see us being a dome team
Well, I think if Tom goes bald, or shaves his head, then...

Hey, Y.A. Redux!

It's like, the old Bruins of the NFL.
