And to all the geniuses that said he sucked. The man ripped off a big gain in his first pre season game and with little exception has played very very well ever since.
Agreed. "Blount is a mop-up guy and Ridley gets the hard yards." He has played well for the team when asked to run the ball, and somehow got wrapped into Ridley discussions. That's all Blount could do this year. He was asked to be the hammer at the end of the game to move the chains and put the game away, and has been that and more when given the reps. He has had a solid season, and deserves some credit.
As for the OP, he has done well and represents a good personnel decision. He does not yet rank against Moss, Dillon, Welker or Washington. Right now, he is a solid player and a contributor. We know where the story ends with those other guys. 600 yards, if that ends up being all he does, does not rank.
