Menlo Park in Jersey?

yeah, Trev...I just thought there might be one in Jersey since this character has all the earmarks of the illiterate Rats fan

That was my first thought. There's a Menlo Street in Jersey, but when the Menlo Park signature came out, the cat was out of the bag.

Maybe a disoriented Bolts fan???

you can't understand one's style of writing, therefore he or she is illiterate. Hmmm, define illiterate and show how that apply
He's probably just confusing illiterate with ignorant.

I don't think you have a style of writing, FWIW. You do have syntax. Very poor syntax, but that is more a function of ignorance than illiteracy.

There, I've stuck up for a troll and defended her against a charge of illiteracy. Will wonders never cease

lmao, and you speak of literacy? Its a message board and as long as the point can be reached across, I could care less.
Your point is losing its direction against the board. For a long time your slight hand is south, and others remark.

He's asking about the team's tendencies to blitz or if people feel that Adalius could've done more this year. If anything his blitz thread makes some sense. If the team can turn it up in the fourth, why not turn it up earlier and make things easier for the offense and as far as AD, depending on who you ask, he's been anywhere from a little above average to below average his first year here. We don't know who Menlo is, but nothing in those two threads shows me that he is the next, great troll.

Is this thread even necessary? Couldn't this question have been asked through PM?

Maybe they don't like giving up touchdown passes.

They let the opposition run their game plan, then they analyze it and jump routes/blitz where appropriate.

Not gambling early on defense early has worked pretty well for seven years...

That's obviously true.

Menlo Park is just south of San Francisco.

Originally (I'm guessing) Thomas Edison's lab in New Jersey.

EDIT: no relation between the two place names.

I'm guessing the poster falls in the perspiration category.

Isn't that one of the Revelations presaging the End of Days?

Im guessing your referencing the "New Jersey is the armpit of America" idea.

Every board has its own antagonist, who does a very good job of pissing people off with their threads based on what they think or what someone told them, that is not fact based.. in this case the stuff he has posted has hit a nerve for most of us.. these guys are tough to ignore and like to be beaten up soundly(reminds me of some perverse BDSM clip).. and will always come back for more.. there is little sense of arguing with them as they come with something less and less intelligent. The Visiting Locker Room has Aquaboy, the Political Forum has Fogbuster.. this one has Menlo.

To my eye, the mysterious Mr. or Ms. Menlo sounds to my ear like a good speaker of English as a second language, who can't get idiom right. Bulletin boards are probably pretty brutal for him/her if that's the case.

My thoughts exactly!

Menlo do you speak another language besides English?

I'm new here myself, so I should be the last to criticize another forum member. Having said that and having read Menlo's threads, my guess is Menlo is relatively new to the sport, so he/she may not have a good grip of the game yet. From the sounds of it, I also doubt Menlo has played the game much at any level. And if he/she has played, it would be at a casual level and again, probably learned it recently.

So I say we cut Menlo some slack and see how it unfolds. Being a troll is one thing, but I think ignorance deserves a little leeway.

Considering many people "type like they talk," that wouldn't be very far off. I have my guess as to where Menlo might be from, but it's irrelevant. Here, football acumen is all that matters.

Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration.
