I just got Comcast (my only choice) a week ago and NFLN isnt one of the channels. Also the sports package is 5 bucks not 7

Came home from work and turned on the NFLN and they charge you a monthly fee if you want the NFLN. The price is only 1.99 a month very reasonable to me. This is in New Jersey not sure when the will be starting up there. Can not wait for the Pats to start practicing.

Glad I decided to go with DirecTV (satellite), where NFLN is part of the basic package.

Not sure where you have been, but this is not new. Comcast won a case last month against the NFL regarding this and its been talked about several times.

That's interesting. Up until now we've been hearing it will be $7.95 a month.

ya, that what I heard too, but that would be as part of the Sports Entertainment package

the 1.99 addition that the poster is talking about could perhaps be a fee for JUST the NFLN and thus we would not have to purchase the entire Sports Entertainment pack in order to get NFLN (which would be nice because the other channels are not worth it)

No I didn't have to buy the sports package. You can just purchase the NFLN which is fine with me.

no you cant...the nfln on demand will only be available to people with the sports tier subscription

I think you actually can access NFLN ON DEMAND without NFLN (well, you need digital cable).

I could access NBA TV on demand before I even got the sports package.
