It will cost the 32 NFL owners dearly to let the cabal run amok. These rational men have to know that and at least 2 or the 32 Kraft of the Patriots and the owner of the Saints are ready to roast the entire Cabal The incompetents at the NFL Office are undermining any support for the rights of the legitimate needs of the league commissioner to adjudicate disputes. It is becoming apparent that the entire Front Office needs a through fumigation and house cleaning. The players and the NFLPA will succeed even if not in this particular litigation which may swing on legal issues, of jurisdiction and labor law.

But Judicial restraint is a well known and wise course of action. The Cabal of failed ex-Jet executives exceeding and abusing their authority will ruin the NFL front office due to excess and abuse of those legitimate rights.

Recognizing how slow jurispudence is, I can forsee that Brady may never serve a suspension even if the litigation does not go as he wishes, over the remainder of his career. Cases have run 2.5 years, and Brady may be retiring by then.

To ensure this takes place a Defamation independent of the NFLPA, can be brought and Tom and Giselle have the resources to let it run that long, even with little hope of legal success. It will serve to get on the record how malicious a course of action was taken by the Cabal.

Not really.

The best case scenario is something like:

• Brady wins on the procedural issues and gets an independent hearing for a re-appeal.
• At the appeal, new evidence is allowed (that seems to be the NFL's way).
• Goodell, Kensil and Wells are all called as witnesses, under penalty of perjury, just as Brady was at the first appeal.
• To avoid perjuring themselves, they either refuse to testify or else tell enough truth that it's clear what kind of corrupt process went down.
• Goodell and Kensil lose their jobs. Wells loses his stream of business from the NFL.
• A chastened league agrees with the NFLPA on a more independent discipline process.

That would all be great. Indeed, it's thoroughly implausible in its greatness.

But if ALL of that happened, the owners wouldn't be hurt much at all
