What is the best OL for the Patriots, come Jan. 10th?

That's been our best line all year, by far. The big question market is Connolly, who hasn't been the same since dinging his ankle and dealing with a concussion.

Did he have a second concussion? I ask because I thought his concussion was during the first Buffalo game

Solder - Connolly - Stork - Wendell - Vollmer, hope that they ll be healthy.
Connolly and wendell have good tehnique but some heavy dline can abuse them and they can have problems with making run game fluid. Only Ravens Dline can cause them probs, but luckily they have no secondary.
I am very surpised about Stork. He had poor combine numbers, if i compare him to Corey Linsley and Russell Bodine. I am not in anyway draft specialst and i am curious why were those guys drafted later and do u think if they ll be playing at the same lvl as Stork.

Combine numbers are nice, and sometimes they are an interesting indicator (in the case of Jamie Collins) but Stork was the Rimington Award winner for a reason last year..

Agree with what everyone has said. If we have to to use Cannon, Kline or Devey in our starting lineup, we are probably going to have issues.

No, I think you're right and I was wrong as far as a second concussion is concerned. I can't find any clear record of it, though I thought I remember it being discussed after the Miami game. He left that game with a reported "neck injury", then was on the injury report the following week with a "knee injury":

So Connolly apparenty has banged up his ankle, knee and neck this season in addition to having a concussion.

I've been a HUGE Cannon supporter during his time here and nothing he did up to the start of this season led me to feel differently. No one championed the position that he should be moved to RG more than me. In fact I may have been the one who originated the idea.

Well I was dead wrong on the moving him to RG plan. Clearly he is one of the very rare species of OLman who finds that moving from T to G harder than the other way around. And unfortunately all this moving around seems to caused the rest of his game to fall apart as well.

I am REALLY hoping that BB is seeing something in Marcus Cannor that we are not to give him that fairly generous extension, because he certainly hasn't pass the eyeball test since he's signed it.

Cannon as RG was our dream, but he was good Volmer replacement last year, so BB has him as reserve or maybe vollmer replacement for 2015 or 2016.
I have a huge problem with Devey. We were all scratching our heads when Devey played in preseason, and then he started. And he is still on the roster. Casey Walker & Don Jones left and he is still on the roster. I rather have Don Jones as Gaurd instead of Devey. I dont know wat they see in him

Cannon's 2013 was encouraging but his 2014 was rubbish. Hopefully his 2015 is better!

As for the extension, you're right Ken. I found it to be a peculiar extension because he hasn't played to the contract the Patriots gave him. Also, he doesn't really provide the flexibility of a swing linemen we were hoping he would show.

Let's hope Cannon starts moving in the right direction. The Patriots need as many of their Offensive Linemen playing as well as they can moving forward.
