We won despite Smith not because of him. There's a boatload of RB who I would use a #1 pick on in a second. Surely you've noticed what a guy like Tomlinson brings to a game. My God, why would we want one of those when we won with Antowain f*cking Smith.

I see your point, but the fact that we won two SBs with Smith, who played well for us in 2001, only strengthens my argument that RBs can be found w/o burning a high pick. SD has been to the playoffs only twice and is 0-2 in postseason games with LDT. The Pats beat SD w/o a running game last month.
