Exactly. QB is a different animal and teams often draft QBs higher than they should.I’d have to see more nfl action from him before I would trade a 2nd. If we had neither Maye or Milton, you’d be good waking up and seeing the Pats traded a 2nd rounder for him? All it takes is one team I guess.
The thing about Milton is that he is just one year into his rookie contract and has shown real ability.
The Pats do not need to trade him, unless they get a really enticing offer. I would like to see what Josh might try and do with him with a few gadget plays.
No team needing a QB, who missed out on the top options, is going to let some team trade a 4th for Milton without making a countering offer.
Milton is too enticing to let another team get him cheap.
Competition is what will drive Milton’s value up.
