I can't comment on the seven years thing, but Mooch was on NFL Access last night stating that Brady's stats were a bit better in most categories than Rodgers in his 2007 year
..for whatever all that stuff is worth....
He plays outdoors in Green Bay - If he finishes the year beating Brady's stats, than that will be incredibly impressive.
Isn't Rodgers just halfway through his 4th season as a starter?
How is this 'comparison' possible?
Especially considering Brady plays in a dome.
Just because Aaron Rodgers is having a great year doesn't mean Brady hasn't had a great career. Brady brought us 3 SB rings, 2 NFL MVPs, a TON of Records, and nearly a dozen years of dominance. That's all that matters.
At a certain point, the young guys always take over. It's called life.

The 2007 schedule was the most difficult NFL schedule I've ever seen. 2/3rds of the teams the Patriots played were playoff teams. It was a murderer's row. For that reason alone, I would give Brady more credit.
Brady still has a good six years left.
agreed. but that's not my point. Aaron is young and in the early stages of his career. Brady is older and in the later stages of his career. It's just simple logic that young talented people eventually eclipse their talented elders in professional sports.
Brady might be one of my favorite athletes of all time, but I'm not going to be delusional and suggest his last six years will be better than Rodgers next six. And that doesn't take anything away from what Brady accomplished in his career.
And his 7th year in the league. Are you saying he was a rookie in 2008 ?
