I'm not overly confident our guys can win in Denver at this point but if any team can deal with all the injuries the and challenges Pats will be that team.
While Brock looked good last week it wasn't a huge improvement over Manning, they have a lot of their own issues on the offensive line, DT isn't playing like his previous years ( got his contract) and Sanders is dinged up also. Run game is suspect at best. Now since I said that DT will have a breakout game ha ha ha...so sorry if I jinx it.
Denver's defense is for real and over on the Broncos forums they believe (as they should as fans) that their defense is better than anything the Pats have played and I'm inclined to agree. I think the Buffallo defensive line is as good if not better, I think the Buffalo secondary has more talent but I do think NE is facing likely the best defense overall in the league this week. I don't care about some of the stats out there. One thing both Denver and buffalo have in common is lack of discipline and a high rate (league leading) penalties. In a close game that can decide the game...re: Indy...the common thing with Wade and Rex is that their defenses have historically been undisciplined. I know some Broncos fan will read this and get all pissy and go nuts. Also let's hope Mr. dirtiest player in the NFL (Ward) doesn't take out another one of our players, he only goes to the knees because he can't tackle otherwise. That should stir up Broncos country...having a little fun there guys , don't take it personal, just about every fan from every team sees it.
I don't expect NE to win, if they do I won't be surprised and I'll be happy camper, plus if they do but I also don't think Brock is going to light the Pats up either. The Pats got a pretty good defense themselves and they are not the Bears.
I have an opportunity to sit in a box this week at the game, passing on it, I'm not good in crowds. Give it to a Denver fan instead.
