Welker just did the splitting the defense celebration! :rocker:

All of the draft gurus on this board ripped us for giving up a 2nd round pick for this guy. Oh yeah, some were incensed we threw a 7 in too!! We do make personnel mistakes. Everyone does. But, I'm just happy we have Belichick and Pioli running the show. Plus, an owner like Mr. Kraft.

Who needs Wes Welker when you could take Ted Ginn with the 9th overall pick?

there is pretty much nothing about Welker that I don't like. Dude plays hard, has incredible talent, is feisty as heck, and makes the plays when you need him to.... Rock on Wes!

BTW. . . . after seeing Welker doing the Moss routine, was anyone reminded of Dustin Pedroia's "F#%@ yeah!" after he saved Buchholz's no-hitter? :rocker:

that splitting the defense celebration will become i believe a pats team type of celebration...every one on the team will start doing it, LOL, at least the wr's, and i cant wait...

yea, and this week the pats had 7 splitting the defense celebrations = 7tds...

We should never have thrown in that seventh round pick! We could have had him anyway with a 2nd and a poison pill.

But as I said at the time, Welker was worth it. Its just that he'd be even more worth it if we still had our seventh.

Because our late round picks were so important and productive last draft?

Why? Even the Pats' fifth- and sixth-rounders had trouble making the team. . . . :bricks:
