I like the signing in that, if healthy, Cam can be a good fit for the Pat's current group of offensive weapons and it'll at least be interesting to see what he has left and what percentage he is of his MVP days.

I don't like it in that this throws a little bit of water on my Belichick knows that Stidham will be better than Mahomes is now, and better than Brady ever was fantasy...oh well I still have pornhub.

If he’s healthy and if they didn’t get rid of Thuney to make room on the cap for Cam then I think the offense definitely has potential. The thought of having a dual threat QB is pretty sweet. They can lose the tough games against the Chiefs, Ravens etc and still get to 10 wins.

Pretty good upside to this. If he's bad we can cut him.

If he's good, he gives us a usable QB and buys Stidham another year. And at the end of the year we can extend him or let him go and likely get a comp pick (this is in the good year scenario).
