It's think it's actually great marketing. They have caught onto how depressed fans get after the team makes their selections.I am watching the draft on the NFL network.
Why do they keep advertising anti-depression medications?
Because they had 3 QB's and Bledsoe was getting close to an extension, I thought for sure Brady wasn't going to make the team in 2000. I was very rare to even keep 3 QB's.Generally you are correct, but in 2000 we drafted a QB in the 6th round and we already had three QBs likely to be on the roster.
I felt at the time it was a wasted pick, but we ended up keeping four QBs that year.
That was such a once-in-a-lifetime event though.
