DRAFT Welcome To New England TE Eli Raridon

They cut a 5th round pick Bradyn Swinson last year after preseason and he reverted to the practice squad. What you think they can’t do and what they can actually do are two completely different things.

Never smoke your breakfast in the morning.

Oh look the drunk guy is back responding. Are you sure you have the right person this time? I have never smoked in my life and you have no idea what reality is. I like how you have no clue that we need depth at the other positions I listed because you want a TE we can just cut in a few months. lol. What a great strategy.

The Patriots cut 5th round pick Swinson and all their did was make it to the Super Bowl. But it can’t happen and insuring a need position isn’t smart. Stop chasing me around like a jealous ex, you’re embarrassing yourself.

On a side note, it’s so funny that Wolf said, you don’t draft for need, and what has he done ? Drafted for the 3 biggest needs, in fact, trading up in the 1st two rounds for major needs.

The ignorance with you is just to a whole different level. Its not even possible for you to embarrass yourself anymore with what you post. We all just go, "Yup, drunk guy strikes again." The Pats did not take Swinson with the intention of cutting him. We had a real need at pass rusher and we took a flyer on him. He couldn't do it. This is what you just don't get. We had plenty of room for an EDGE and needed sacks. Its weakness. With the Raridon pick, Henry, and the Hill and Gilliam signings, THERE IS NO ROOM. It would be taking a pick just so you can cut him. We need S, G, RB, CB, P, etc.... You pick those and not just throw away picks. How stupid does one have to be to not get that?

Henry is entering the last year of his contract clown, if the team loves their TE room after camp they could trade Henry or cut him outright so he could catch on with a contender. Younger, better, cheaper…

Highly doubt it, but here’s some info for the cap guys..

Does anyone really think we are going into the season with a rookie TE2 and CJ Dippre as TE3?

I would prefer our rookie TE gets a year with Henry in the same practice field and meeting rooms. Sames as Lomu with Moses.

Yup, you just cut the mentor for the new TE, replace him with a 6th or 7th rounder, and take away one of Drakes favorite targets. These are just great ideas all around. We should fire Wolf and put in Wozzy. How is it even possible you call my posts embarrassing and yet you are are posting this trash? 2027 is a FA TE or another TE draft pick. You don't do that to Hunter. Brian Hoyer says it all the time. Hunter is another coach out there and is incredibly valuable. And you want to cut him. You are very ill.

Wolf didn't draft for need. He held true to what he previously said.
Let me 'splain: it seems many fans here have a different idea of what " drafting for need" means than what nfl people think.
When nfl people say it theyre referring to a mindset, born out of desperation by other weakass nfl front offices. That is, often reaching for a player to fill a need when that player is a far inferior prospect than many players still on the board. That's what losers have always done. So they end up actually not filling the need since the player is not good enough. Even worse, they usually skipped over numerous superior prospects who went on to be quality nfl players.
The ideal draft is obviously being able to fill needed positions but with players who were basically as good or better than the group of players at other positions drafted after them.
Trading up is fine as long as you're not seriously overpaying.
Look at every pick of the 2025 and 2026 drafts. They all fit this criteria. They filled many needs and the players picked were not reaches. Every draft is not always gonna work out that way but the things aligned well these past 2 years. More importantly, we have very smart football people making good decisions now.

I said you first trade or second cut Henry if you love your TE room after preseason, that means the youngsters look advanced for their age. It happens.

Who was Brock Bowers mentor when he led the entire NFL in receiving yards the year before last? Was it Michael Mayer and Harrison Bryant, two other young guys.

Also Henry probably wants an extension if he wants to continue playing after this year at 32 years of age. Contracts always factor into roster decisions.

I didn’t call your posts embarrassing, I said you chasing me around for making you look foolish a month ago was. Again… grow up.

Generally you are correct, but in 2000 we drafted a QB in the 6th round and we already had three QBs likely to be on the roster.

I felt at the time it was a wasted pick, but we ended up keeping four QBs that year.

That was such a once-in-a-lifetime event though.

Oh great. Now we are comparing a generational TE and 13th overall pick to our #95 pick. This is getting even better. You can't even remember who was replying to you last night let alone a month ago. You and your posts are embarrassing. I will grow up when you put the alcohol down.
