Welcome! Time to Introduce Yourself

We are both still young enough to see another dynasty
It's funny how I missed it the first time, but when you said "both" I thought you were talking about you and someone else. I found out that I was an old man when a young woman offered me her chair at a golf tourney.

I never thought I'd see another dynasty like the Pats but here comes the KC Express. They're almost a lock to win again.

Hey been a Pats fan since they played at Fenway. I was surprised that I'm registered here, but I never spent much time. The board I was with for a long time has become too political -everything dissolved into politics - so I'm looking for greener pastures.

I'm an optimist and have plenty of hope Mac can help reclaim some of what they've lost with Brady. I'm neither a big Brady fan nor detractor. I love what he did for the Pats, don't hold a grudge for him leaving, and couldn't care less what he done since....I really despise talk radio especially F&M.

Go Pats!
One of the best things Ian did was get rid of the political talk here.

I went to a Pats game with my dad and uncle at Fenway in November of 63 vs the Chargers. I have a memory of Ernie Ladd warming up without pads by banging the goalpost in RF. I was mesmerized by the swaying back and forth. I heard that it was a ritual he would perform to impress the other team or fans. It worked on me.

Greetings. I am a twenty-something girl raised to be a Patriot fan by my father.

Obviously I am loyal to my first love Tom Brady.
Welcome aboard. You're going to like it here.

I'm a seventy-something man raised to be a Patriot fan by my father.

Tell your father that I said he's a good kid.

Hopefully the 49'rs , Eagles , Lions or Ravens delay them a bit....lol

I am definitely Team Brady. And Team Belichick. Love them both.
I think belichick is somewhat underrated from a character perspective, not his football mind. I watched his performance on the manning show and it was great , he seems very likeable privat

Been here since 2012, love this message board , it's where I come to get my Pats fix. I might not post as much as some fans however I still read a lot of the messages .
Female from Canada , in my forties. Watched the Patriots avidly since 93, was a hard core Bledsoe fan and then became a Brady and Belicheck fan !! Love everything Patriot !!!!!!

New to the site, thanks Ian for getting me in. Pats fan since early/mid 60s through good and bad times and I'm one of those that doesn't yet feel Maye is the answer. A pocket passer in today's world is nothing more than a target for opposing defenses to t off on.

Welcome to the board. So you are not sold on Maye, because he is a pocket passer. Aren't they all to one degree or another "pocket passers" Mahomes has great numbers throwing from the pocket. Clean-pocket passing grade. Burrows 93.5. Mahomes 92.4. Think I would take those numbers for Maye.

I would take either of those 2 as well but neither is a pure pocket passer. Much of their considerable success when passing from the pocket appears to be because opposing defenses have to have players do containment rater than all charging the pocket

I'm on the other side of the fence when it comes to running QBs. Until the running QBs learn how to pass from the pocket, like Mahomes has, then they'll always be looking for a hole to run through. Lamar Jackson is a great example of that right now.

Rodgers is a pocket passer.

Brady did ok too. Josh Allen is, but hes mobile and his running gets him injured. I dont want the Franchise getting hit anymore than he already is.

You mentioned Lamar Jackson who currently has a 68.3 QB rating which is 6th in the NFL. Not sure the Pat's need a Lamar but with their current O line who ever they have had best be able to run if for no other reason than self preservation. Hell I wish they would use Milton like the Saints have used Taysom Hill but they never will

Jackson is always the Ravens leading rusher. When crunch time comes like last postseason and Jackson has to pass, he chokes.
