That Jags team last night and from last week are completely different teams than I watched in Weeks 1 and 2. Lawrence is getting better every week. He did a phenomenal job of taking what the defense was giving him and knowing when he shouldn’t force the ball. I think his biggest obstacle was always going to be how easily football came to him at the HS and college levels because he was simply so much more gifted than everyone he was playing against (for the most part). That allowed him to get away with a lot. He can’t do that at this level, so the learning curve was going to be steep. But he’s learning, and fast. Unfortunately for him, the rest of the team surrounding him is still… pretty bad. And that’s putting it kindly.
