NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION Week 8: Other NFL games

How many former Dolphins are still alive drinking champagne right now?

None because they all know if they drink liquids after 8PM that they have get up to pee at least a dozen times overnight.

I didn't get a chance to watch it, but I would also caution against judging a team too much based on a Thursday night game. No matter who the teams are, Thursday night football always tends to be sloppy.
Making snap judgments on any team in a single week is silly. How many counted New England out after KC beat them down in a first-half game a few years ago? Every week is different.

The NFC has several teams that could go to the SB. Power ranking them right now would have five clustered around the top: Tampa, LAR, Dallas, GB and AZ, with the first three looking like a toss-up.

I'll give Tampa the edge because of Brady, but there's no lock there.

It'll be interesting to see if the Saints can hang with them this week - another team not to be taken lightly. Talented in all the quiet places.

After that game Brady is back on top again in the MVP race. Could even break that curse this year.

That was nice of Rodgers to remind cardinals fans how many rings the GOAT has.

Just saw that too. Pretty sad and cringeworthy. I guess any NFL fan who dislikes Brady ends up viewing things like this as some type of historic feat.

There is nothing "sad" or "cringeworthy" about an official twitter for an NFL team celebrating that team's win.

I saw the same one from the NFL twitter (didn't realize this one posted here was the Packers twitter) along with some fans posting "GOAT" in the replies by explaining how injured the Packers were and how amazing of a feat it was to beat the Cardinals. That's essentially what I was referring to.

Gotcha. Yeah, fans are a different animal. Rodgers has teased them so many times they probably have CTE from the whiplash.

I love watching Dillon pound the ball. Funny he wears the same number Corey did

Love the way AJ Green showed everyone why's he's still a Bengals at heart.

I’d like to know what happened there. It looked like Green was the one who initiated contact to block, and him not even attempting to turn around makes me suspect that more. Was that a bootleg play call that got audibled?

reports are that Green missed a hand signal for a back shoulder fade from Murray. That would explain where the ball went, but not the fact that he really didn't run a route.

From what I read there was a call at the LOS and Green missed it.

Seems like Green ran the original play that was called which appears to be a running play based on the way he reacted. I don't know why a running play would be called given the time left, distance, and no timeouts.

Can anyone pump a 1:00 game for me to get excited about? Usually there’s a game that’s either two good teams, or at least rooting for an upset in a game that’s supposed to be reasonably close. Seems the best game on here is Browns-Steelers, also known as the AFCN basement.

I just watch RedZone and let the decisions be made for me.

Indy/Titans

Lots expecting a Titty blowout. This is still the same team that lost to NJ Jets. Colts can still win this division if they win this game.

Well, I guess the Bengals are still the Bengals.

Jets with an opening drive TD, first time all year.

would there be anymore Cincy thing than Cincy losing to the JETES

Colts might want to start blocking Landry or Wentz will be exiting the game soon.
