Its not even the ratings though. I was down by Fenway a few weeks back (Beth Israel, family member gave birth) and walking around you seen more people sporting Pats gear than Sox. Boston/New England just like the rest of the country now.

What's missing in all this is that the Pats and the Sox were playing on the same channel, which means that the difference between the two was made up of people who watched the Pats and then changed the channel when it was time for the Sox. Pretty telling if you ask me.

All this being said, I like the Red Sox (as long as they are without Bobby Valentine) and do indeed root for them.

It just is hilarious, however, how the "Old Guard" in the media keep tilting at windmills in denial about the Patriots.
