Awful way to lose the game. We are about to get down 20-14 because McDaniels thought that running in 3rd and 7 with Stevenson was the right thing to do do
If you're going for it on 4th anyway (and they were) it's not a terrible idea. Now, lining up in a ****ing Power I out of the pistol instead of lining up and getting 3 yards like a grownup, well, that's where I have the issue.
Now that was a pair of curious plays. Counts as a TO and now we need one back. And this defense doesn't look like it is coming close to stopping the NO offense. Even getting to a 3rd down seems like a victory
