Back again with an update! Last week started off hot then went cold. Still made a little cash going 3/6 with one of my slight long shots winning and carrying my 2 safer bets to a positive outcome. Sitting at 263 up from 200 at the start (I think i gained only 5 or 6 that week, but a gain is a gain!) Again, this is just for fun. I'm not supporting anyone gambling. Just seeing how I do.

I put in one bet already for this week in TNF. So i'm posting now. So everyone can go back and know I'm not cheating

Bucs: Godwin anytime TD. 10 to win 24 - Godwin has gone scoreless in the past 2 games. People talk about how the open guy gets the ball with Brady, but not always true. After the feast AB and Evans had last week (and again no Gronk) I see this being time for Godwin to have his turn and get some plays where he is the first read in scoring situations or maybe a designed play for him. The Eagles were scored on by Dallas and KC. The Bucs have a similar offense and so should have similar success in getting TDs, which will give Godwin a number of chances. Personally I like this bet as if it is consistent every game Godwin needs to score in 8 or 17 to be profitable and 7 of 17 is practically breaking even with a slight edge to the better (any kind of score). He has scored about half the time he's played with Brady.
Bucs -9.5 @ Eagles Adjusted spread. 10 to win 23 - Again, I don't tend to like to bet on TNF. But I like this game when i look closer at what happened against KC and DAL which are 2 similar offenses. They curbed stomped this D once they couldn't get pressure, and the Bucs OL is healthy and one of the better units. I think they come close to 40 and the Eagles don't break 30.

Everyone started with 50k. We accepted new players up thru week 4. Ian generously offered a brown champion banner to the winner.

If you want to start with 50k for fun and make picks each week, I am fine with that. To keep it fair, I will just have to keep you out of the running for the championship. But join us for the fun of it if you would like! I'll keep your bank roll tallied with the rest of us. I know that not getting that banner under your name is a hard pill to swallow

But I think this has made each NFL weekend even more fun for all of us. And I plan on running this game next year and on until @Ian kicks me out of here. So that banner could be yours next year.
