and then he throws it into double coverage.

It really was a horrible throw and a bad decision. But sometimes the low percentage attempts succeed and the high percentage (like the Edelman drop) ones fail. Sports.

Yeah I was critical of that decision but if there is anyone you want to do that with on this team, it's Gordon. Same way he did it with Moss in his supposed prime.

A great victory and a great meme as a result... not a bad Thursday night!

Thanks. That said, that's part of what has made Brady Brady. He's always been risk averse. If there was even a 2% chance the safety could break on it, he wouldn't throw it.

I can't believe how few of Brady's INTs are mistakes. Many of them are the kind from last night, where a ball bounces off of a receiver. I wonder if there's a stat on that.

It was neither

So heaving it up for grabs into the opponents endzone straight where 2-3 DBs are heading towards is a sound decision ? When just a second earlier Brady hesitated hitting a wide open Hogan because of the safety in the MOF ?

yup, hogan is wide open and it seems like brady stares in his direction for a long time. maybe he's losing a bit of trust in him:

still frame. nobody in that entire quarter of the field, and brady seems to be staring right at him:

I’m still alright with the outcome. Hogan already ole’d a pass to the other team, so I guess hogan didn’t instill a lot of confidence in Brady after that.
I’m glad he went with that Gordon guy.

But what does it say when Brady would rather heave a ball into double coverage, albeit to a superior receiver, than to a wide open Hogan?

Sorry Hogan.

I still like Hogan but I think Dorsett is playing himself into the #3 role currently.

Your definition of "leaving it up for grabs" is pretty clearly not my definition of "leaving it up for grabs". He threw a high jump throw to Josh Gordon, who was going against completely overmatched defenders. That's the sort of play that NFL QBs, including Brady, Rodgers, and Brees, make all the time.

Look, I don't know why you have a hair across your ass about Brady this season, and I don't care. But your seemingly constant posting of stupid **** about his play is just as bad as all the trolling others do that you so frequently bemoan.

If Brady doesn’t throw a pass with that trajectory, I’m pretty sure it’s broken up. He lead Gordon, and threw it a little underneath so he could come back. Gordon had a DB behind him, it wouldn’t have been a catch any other way.

Decision is another argument. I think it was a great pass.

Yeah ideally Brady should have hit Hogan for a big gain instead of dancing around. But then again we are looking at this from a better POV and with the help of slow motion. **** happens.

He can’t find him in the trash. His vision was blocked.

I think that pass was meant for Hogan but was way under thrown. The pass didn't look right as soon as it left his hand. There's no way of proving it unless I can get to torture Brady to answer though.
No

I have a problem with people who believe in mythical societal issues. McCourty is as likeable as Colin Kaepernick and just as ignorant. He's also a bad NFL football player.
So it’s about racism.

So you don't enjoy silly things like Chung's karate kick? I personally enjoy the OchoCinco and TOs of the world. I enjoy taunting(LT is probably still crying about us doing the Merriman sack dance lol). What I don't like is celebrating when you are losing. Guys will get blown out and still celebrate a first down. That should be a flag. "Not looking at the scoreboard. 15 yard penalty."
Personally, I find it a bit cheesy. I was all for the individual celebrations, the Icky Shuffles, etc. The pre-determined group choreography feels a bit like the stuff that we make fun of the Steelers for doing, but to each his own.

You do realize how this makes you look, right?

If Malcolm Brown is OK (I think the broadcast said he was OK), we have a W without an injury. That is a Win Win.
Likely MCL and did not return. Not severe, but could keep him out a bit. We'll see next week if practices.
