Game Day Thread Week 5: Patriots at Bills

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

I'm looking forward to having sound since the game is on national tv. been watching at the sports bar where I'm stuck on a small screen in the corner with no sound. It didn't use to be like that ... and looking like it won't be long till we get back on the main screen. Go Pats!

tap...tap...is this thing on?...

It won't shock me if things get heated tonight. Diggs doesn't like the Bills and I hope he catches some early passes and starts yappin' like he did to JC Jackson to set the tone.

It would be poetic for Diggs to have a big game. Who’s their best CB? Benford? Hopefully, that game last week instilled some confidence, continuity & momentum within the team/organization. Ever so often, it’s wins like that, which can jumpstart a young team’s incline to learning how to win consistently. Now, a win tonight in Buffalo would obviously be a statement win & teach the team how to win against upper echelon opponents in tough environments. Buffalo isn’t a dominant team by any means, but their QB is & they know how to win. That being said, IF we lose, I would expect something like 31-21 or 31-24; not a blowout because they weren’t blowing us out last year when we were a bottom 4 team. If we win…….all I’ll say is that it’s gonna be a great week to listen/read about the progress of our young, ascending QB/team. We must stop the run (Cook & Allen), try to take away the middle of the field (mainly Shakir, Kincaid & Knox) & protect the football. Any week would be a week for superb special teams play, but another performance from Jones tonight IN Buffalo would damn near cause nocturnal emissions. Just win baby….

You know how UNC vs Clemson was sort of a measuring stick game for a new regime? This is that for the Vrabel era to see where we are. I don't know if I expect us to win, but I want to see them fight their asses off and at least give them a run for their money.

Yep! The Bills organization has been talking a bunch of **** blaming Diggs and yet they still flame out in the playoffs.

Interesting hearing the Bills broadcast bullish on Maye and the Patriots. I suspect part of it is because the Dolphins and Jets are dumpster fires…

The 72 Dolphins are cheering for us tonight so they can crack open the champagne. Lol

they are no longer the only undefeated team in league history...

I'd love for Diggs to breakout tonight. He has been respectably low-key since the media blowup over the boat pics, choosing to be a big team player and nothing like a malcontent, no matter how much the media prods him on targets or whatever. But I know guys like him thrive off proving the hate wrong. Thrive tonight, brother. All-you-can-eat buffet their ass.

I mean.. don't eat their ass... But uh... Yeah. Y'all know what I mean.

Bills fans will throw didoes at him.

What's troubling is that its the male Bills fans who have an endless supply of these things. Sign of the times I guess.

The Pats will likely come back to earth tonight.

This team and QB is the total opposite of Carolina. Just keep getting better and growing.
