I maybe wrong but there is a core of knowledgeable supporters/viewers in the UK however the vast majority of sports TV watchers would have no idea that this was a good game or bad.

Yes. It is all the first down production's fault! Do not look at that man behind the curtain. I'm sure if you gain 9 yards on every first down, you'll probably have some success. But in reality, offenses and passing games need to over come poor first downs on occasion.
