Week 5 NFL Games - Previews and Predictions
By: John Morgan

Week five should be interesting as all of the remaining undefeated teams are playing on the road, and none of them are facing pushovers. On the other end of the spectrum the Giants have their best chance at a win thus far this season (home versus Eagles),...

Another stinker today and I think Schaub's job as a starter might be in jeopardy... whodve thunk it 9 months ago....

Seattle goes up 10-0.

So much for the theory that west coast teams start slow when playing a 1:00 game.

Jaguars lead Rams 7-0, maybe they will get a win this year.

End of 1st quarter/early 2nd quarter

Chiefs up 7-0 over Tennessee
Yards: KC 79, Tenn 10

Seahawks 12, Colts 7
Seattle blocked a punt for a safety, almost was a TD
Luck comes back with 73-yard TD to TY Hilton

Packers 6, Lions 0
GB really struggling vs Lions. Rodgers is completing passes, but not for a lot of yards (13 passes, 54 yards), and the GB rushing game doesn't exist. Calvin Johnson inactive for Detroit.

Ravens 3, Dolphins 3
1st quarter yardage: Baltimore 130, Miami 33
Wallace with a bad drop on 3rd down.

Jaguars 10, Rams 7
Justin Blackmon in 1st game back from suspension has 3 receptions for 90 yards.
In red zone Gabbert threw it straight to a Rams DB, who returned it 82 yards for a pick six.

Eagles 7, Giants 6
Yawn

Colts 14, Seahawks 12
Seattle goes for 48-yard FG on 4th&3; kick is blocked and returned 60 yards for a TD.
Indy was down 12-0, now up 14-12.

Go Baltimore?

...........

Hell yeah

MIA is about to win this...need them to lose with saints coming up

Other NFL Games, Oct.6th

Miami just showed us why you should never spike the ball after a big play with over a minute left

40 yard reception
1st Spike the ball
2nd Sack
3rd incomplete
4th long missed FG

Spike, sack, incomplete pass and then long FG is no good, not even close.

Baltimore wins 26-23; Miami now 3-2.

Adam Vinatieri with a 49 yard FG and the Colts outscore Seattle 10-0 in the 4th quarter to beat Seattle, 34-28. Russell Wilson throws 2 TD but also has two turnovers.

Re: Other NFL Games, Oct.6th

Giants are well on their way to 0-5. They're not even playing football. Eli just picked up his third intentional grounding penalty of the day.

Time to root for the Cowboys only to watch them get rolled.

I don't even enjoy watching the other games the same way after a Pats loss.

Re: Other NFL Games, Oct.6th

Here we go. Dallas wins one game every year they shouldn't to get hopes up before getting blown out by some scrub team.

Re: Other NFL Games, Oct.6th

Dallas may not beat Denver, but hopefully they'll show that their defense is not nearly as good as BSPN wants us to think.

Re: Other NFL Games, Oct.6th

They can beat Denver if they play a clean, efficient game.

And sometimes, like every 3 or 4 games, that does happen for the Cowboys.

I think the Cowboys have been prepared for this game. They want to make a statement. And beating Peyton would help their image out a lot. Will earn them some respect.

Re: Other NFL Games, Oct.6th

Dez Bryant TD. 7-0 Dallas

Re: Other NFL Games, Oct.6th

Come on Cowboys. You have sucked for long enough that I don't hate you guys as much anymore. And certainly not as much as Forehead's teams.

If you win this game, I won't mind you being a fake America's team. Just get it done!

I think the Cowboys have a real shot today. At least to make it a game against the Broncos.... or maybe even pull off the upset.

Welker got rocked and dropped the pass. If a Pats WR drops it the reaction would be:

OMG WTF WHY HE DROP THT. BRADY IZ DONE. WRS CANT CATCH
