Week 4 NFL Games - Previews and Predictions

Divisional road games are always tough on most any team. The loss of Melton has been huge today, as Bush has been gashing them on the ground. That and all those turnovers will kill any team.

They barely beat the Bengals and the Vikes. The Vikes are winless. And the Bengals don't look nearly as good as people thought they were.

BTW, I was wrong about the Steelers. That was the only game they dominated.

The Bears are a good team, but not a top 5 team.

The Chiefs are rocking the Giants. G-men....rough start this year. Can't say I care.

ahahahahahahah Flacco int #4

Fantasy Football has been tough this season...Giants, Ravens, 49ers...FU

Through 15 quarters of action -- Opponents 126, Jaguars 31

Your first point is moot.

There are no style points in the NFL. Wins are wins, whether by 1 or 30. Just the same as the Patriots barely beating the Bills and Jets, but the point is they got the job done. That's what the good teams do, and the bad teams do not.

As for today, they're playing a Lions team that could have been easily 3-0 coming into the game had they not blow away a lead in the 4th quarter against the Cardinals on the road. So the Lions could be a team that's better than they're being portrayed as.

The Bears are most definitely a good team, whether they're a legit NFC contender remains to be seen.

Style points don't count with wins and losses, but they certainly do in power rankings.

The Pats have been playing short handed and have a track record of being a top team. If say the Jets were 3-0 and played like the Pats, they wouldn't be ranked as high as the Patriots.

Again, I said the Bears are a good team. Most power rankings had them in the top 5. I am saying that was way overrating them especially with Cutler being Cutler.

Russell Wilson picked off by JoJo.

Glad I picked the Texans knowing that the Seahawks historically struggle with 1 PM games on the road.

Some stats I did not expect to see:

- Chiefs with three turnovers

- Bears 0-10 on 3rd down, 0-3 in red zone, 5 turnovers, 37 points allowed

- Bills allowing zero rushing first downs

- Browns 8/15 on 3rd down vs Bengals

- Arizona only 3 points (I know their offense was bad, but I didn't think it was that bad)

- Russell Wilson with 81 net yards passing (I know Seattle is much better at home than on the road, but ...)

Some stats I'm not surprised to see:

- Jacksonville losing by 31

- Giants with three turnovers

- Jamaal Charles 2.3 yards per carry vs Giants

- Pitt-Minn combine for 58 points (neither defense is very good)

Speaking of that, why is this game an 1 PM game? Shouldn't it be a 4PM game with two strong Super Bowl contenders facing each other?

hoyer td.........

Hoyer's won this job. Great QBing without much to work with.
