Week 4 MNF - Miami Dolphins at New Orleans Saints

Debt payed in full. Cant wait to see the 5-0 Patriots in Foxboro

Miami has talent. That team can go as far as Tannehill (way too inconsistent within the same game) and the offensive line (major problems) can lead.

well...at least THIS jagoff won't be there...

Basically, the problems that we discussed at length in the lead up to the season continue to exist through the first quarter of the season for the Fins.

Pretty much. I can see Tannehill getting hot and winning a playoff game, and I can see Tannehill crapping the bed and getting blown out against almost anyone*.

*Raiders and Jaguars don't really count as legitimate teams at this point.

I can see the same, and I think its the OL, not sure, but his pocket pressence is kind of average. He doesnt seem to see it comming, and when he does chokes a bit. Im sure he will grow out of that, unlike sanchez. Love the kids confidence though.

Bengals with Tannehill would be a more serious contender I believe. He's good but with that OL, he has no chance. Give him a good team and he'd be legit. But yes, he'll still suffer from year 2 QB jitters.

LOL, last week we were nothing, now were the NFL favorites ,lol
so funny, after one game. We have so many problems

Pretty much. It's just a really tall order to put a second year QB, especially one who doesn't have Newton/RG3-level mobility, and put him behind a shaky line with turnstiles at tackle. Even veterans can't handle that.

MIA...brought back down to earth

Happy for hoyer.
Like the Browns fan I saw aa lot of Brian Sipe in Hoyer with the Pats, But I know so did BB. People forget that Brian Sipe was a reg-arm, arm-limited QB like Hoyer, who got by, by throwing it "where they ain't", to the right place, and taking what they give you, So does Hoyer. One other major attribute, he possesses POISE.

What I took from this game is Miami isn't so hot and I am glad we are playing New Orleans in Foxboro.

Why is the game not as crucial for Miami, tied for the division lead, than NO, with a 2 game lead in their division?

I worded that incorrectly and should have said the game was more crucial for Atlanta than it was for New Orleans. The win by the Saints gives them a 3-game lead in their division. While it's way too early to declare a team the division winner, it is now highly unlikely that the Falcons win the NFC South. That means they are most likely limited to competing for one of two wild card spots with teams like the Bears, Lions and 49ers (or Green Bay and Seattle, if they they don't win their divisions).

The loss by Miami only puts them one game behind the Patriots; if they beat the Pats then they are ahead based on the tiebreaker. Miami (3-1) is currently in a better position than Atlanta (1-3) for a wild card spot; their competition is the Chiefs (4-0), someone from the AFCN (Titans are 3-1, Texans are 2-2), and whoever finishes second in the AFC North (all but Pittsburgh are 2-2).

Atlanta Falcons: Is the Season Already Over for the 1-3 Falcons?

On a separate note, congrats pherein on your team's victory.
