Pats should be competitive.
I'd agree. I'd feel much better if gonzo plays.. lagaette and King tut can get busy on this secondary minus gonzo...Don't turn the ball over, don't self-sabotage with penalties and they should win this one.
Parker Romo is on the Falcons. But Carolina does have a rookie kicker who is 7-7 this season. This board will erupt if Parker Romo hits a bunch of field goals and Borregales misses his. Lol
Play them exactly like we did the Steelers, except for 5 plays.Just don't play the Panthers the way we played the Steelers
Top 10 bi#*hes…
if they can get up 10 early they'll cruise.Absolute must win.
Bryce Young stinks. Defense is OK. Penix is not an NFL starting QB so that helped them a ton last week.
Maye vs Young? SHOULD be a blow out.
Faith in this team not shooting itself in the foot over and over is not high.
As 5.5 point favorites at home coming off of a tough loss they need to come out fast and prove they can play good winning football.
Gonzalez needs to be back and get his feet wet, play 20 plays, whatever.
Top 10
Bryce Young is one of those guys who's limited because he's 5'10". And he doesn't have a strong arm. He does do lots of other things decent-to-well, but it's going to be tough for him long-term.Just watched every pass from Bryce Young this year. I don't know if I've watched much of him since his rookie year but he has gotten better. You see some of the pocket calmness and the decision making that scouts liked.
Of course, his arm strength is limiting, downfield passes are tough, he needs a clean pocket to get enough on throws 20 yards or more. The deep outs take forever and open guys aren't open by time ball gets there. He also takes some really long drops so he can see down the field.
If you sit in zone defense and don't get pressure, he'll look really good. Get any pressure and he makes bad throws though has some mobility. The line seems like it does a solid job pass protecting.
If you can play a bunch of man and try to limit the inside throws you should have success. OF course, any pressure added to that on the pass rush, and he's done.
Tet is OK, separation is meh vs man, mainly uses his size to make plays vs man. Easy guy to stick to in man for a guy like Gonzo. He does seem to find the right spots in zone. Another reason playing man more often this game makes a ton of sense.
Marcus Jones needs to never cover him!
Should be in the league a long time, but lack of separation vs man probably keeps him from reaching that true #1 level as I would expect the top man coverage corner could take him out of most games. Of course, not too many of those.
Would be curious to see him with a different QB though.
ha, I see @TommyD4207 pointed out that they can have only 8 padded practices per year. Well, that settles that. I should probably learn the rules before I spout off.how does that fit with all the "tough, physical" talk?
